Danny Fox is a painter based in Cornwall, his home and a place he returned to in 2020, after 17 or so years in Cardiff, Hastings, London and Los Angeles. His large-scale canvases take on larger-than-life characters, distilling their complexity down to a vivid and expressive collection of brushstrokes, as he searches for truth in unexpected places in every canvas—from the pub, boxing rings and deserts, to the grubby streets of Skid Row.
